Making a Claim
If you need to make a claim, we'd urge you to contact EGM or your
insurer immediately. Remember, it is advisable that you notify us
of a claim within 24 hours of an incident and that you document all
details to the absolute best of your ability. Photos are
always worth their weight in gold.
How to Make a Claim for Home Insurance
1. Make sure you and your family are safe.
2. When it is safe, take an inventory of all damage and loss.
3. Write down these details.
4. Contact EGM with details of your claim (see contact
info below).
5. Keep all receipts for repairs and
replacement purchases relevant to your claim.
How to Make a Claim in Case of a Vehicular Accident
1. Make sure you are safe.
2. Call 911 if required.
3. Do not admit liability!
4. Record the following details:
Accident - date, time, location and people injured
Other Party - owner name, address, phone,
driver name and license number
Other Vehicle - year, make, license number, insurer, policy number,
broker
Investigating Officer - name, badge number, division
Witnesses - name, address, phone
5. Contact EGM Insurance at first oppounity (see contact info below).
